Escort van.
In the 90's, I was a big lover of
the old Escort diesel vans, I'd had Escort vans since first passing my
driving test when I owned a mk1 & mk2 Escort vans in the 1980's, Then I
went to Diesels as soon as I could afford on. This is a former project of mine,
which I bought off someone I knew, a 1986 1.6 Diesel Mk4 Escort Van
Firstly, I had to spend a fair amount on it mechanically, though the
engine was in good condition for the mileage, and never let me down,
Secondly, I fitted it with a new front end after
I had a front end crash
in Feb 1998. I took me about a day and a half to repair the van,
Then in May of same year we took it to Paris on our honeymoon!!
